Peace Vision is an Iraqi local non-governmental organization based in Baghdad, dedicated to fostering and supporting the SDGs. We believe in awareness-raising and culture as a key factor to support moving forward the SDs, moreover, it’s supporting our meaning of achieving the communities to the “sustainable development.

After overcoming conflicts, Iraq now faces the challenge of keeping its economy stable and moving towards development. This shift from years of humanitarian challenges is a critical moment, requiring focused, coordinated efforts to guide Iraq toward a future of growth and prosperity.

Our Story
In 2024, A motivated team gathered a group of dynamic and experienced Iraqis to establish the Peace Vision. Fueled by ambition and a profound understanding of Iraq’s culture, challenges, and needs, they envisioned a future where everyone has equal opportunities for growth and development. Their goal is to address these needs, overcome challenges, and pave the way for a better future.
Our Objectives:
These objectives are designed to align with Peace Vision’s mission and contribute to its overarching mission of empowering Iraqi youth through social and economic initiatives.
Establish collaborative partnerships with the Iraqi government, NGOs, and INGOs to enhance the impact and reach of Peace Vision's initiatives and activities.
Raise awareness among all job seekers, employed, and unemployed individuals in Iraq about the services provided by the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Establish effective referral pathways with various actors to facilitate job finding and access to relevant services.
Initiate volunteer groups in different governorates in Iraq and Build the capacity of volunteer groups for effective community engagement
Build the capacity of youth on different topics within the theme of economic empowerment, including but not limited to Basics of financial planning, Peaceful conflict resolution, Career Pathways
